TOP FUEL AT THE MARCH MEET IS LOOKING GOOD!

On March 5-7, 2010 the Auto Club Famoso Raceway will once again be host to the legendary Bakersfield March Meet. This year will be the 52nd running of one of the best known, most historic drag races ever! In house will be approximately twenty-six of the most evil, nitro gulping, fire belching, and ground pounding Front Engine Top Fuel Dragsters battling it out for the coveted Top Fuel honors.

Converge on the "promised land" of nostalgia drag racing… thus far they are coming in from all corners of the nation.

From the East:
Tom Steed will be behind the wheels of the "Mr. Boston" dragster…
Howard Haight will pilot the "Nitrodiction"…
Bob Bradley in the “Lincoln Hassel” entry…

From the West:
2009 NTF champions “Neil & White”…
Bad Brad Thompson in the “High Speed Motorsports” entry…
The Utah posse and their "Nitro Thunder” rail…
Jim Murphy in the “WWII” entry…
Adam Sorokin in the “RB Entertainment / Champion Speed Shop” digger…
Brendan Murry in his "Running Wild” slingshot…
Mark Malde in the "Birky Bunch"
Rick Rogers in Butch Blair’s "Fugowie"…
James Day in the return of the "Foothill Flyer"…
Rick McGee in the “Tedford and McGee”…
And Rick Williamson just to name a few!


On hand will be several new cars, many new personalities and a multitude of various engine combinations such as 426 Hemi’s, 392 Hemi’s, big-block Chevy’s and small-block Chevy’s!

Each will be thrashing the 1320, running on the ragged edge… and every one of them on 12 inch wide tires! In addition, did we mention that 44-amp mags are legal on all engine combinations this year? That's right; arc welders for everyone!


The 2010 March Meet promises to be one of the best ever for Top Fuel.
